On a gloomy Sunday, you can give yourself the pleasure of exploring the hills that border the Bormida, and right in the small town of Orsara Bormida a hidden pearl for the palate appears: the Trattoria Quattroruote. This small place welcomes guests with a sober and modern, unpretentious decor, where the heart of those who work there makes the difference.The chef himself comes out of the kitchen to take orders, offering sincere advice on the dishes of the day. Lunch opens with a series of Piedmontese appetizers, served individually to fully highlight the quality and workmanship of the raw materials. The first courses, served in single portions, demonstrate a rare attention to care and presentation, which is also found in the second courses.The quality of the lunch is excellent, and the attention to detail emerges in every course. The final surprise is the bill, which is decidedly low and which makes the quality-price ratio unparalleled.Overall opinion: Excellent lunch, high quality and more than fair price. Super recommended place for those looking for authentic flavors in an informal atmosphere.

Found through Google looking for a restaurant near Aqui Terme, I trusted the reviews found in the photos. They didn't disappoint me. It is a small restaurant and bar with probably a maximum of 30 seats, with small tables that can be joined together or not depending on your needs. There is a small car park, probably 5 spaces, as well as the possibility of parking on the roadside. Rustic, genial place, a real trattoria. No written or QR menu. You are asked directly by the chef and the two waitresses what you want to eat, giving you the choice between different pasta condiments and a couple of second courses. In my case I took pasta with roast sauce, very tasty and delicate, as well as abundant, and cotechino with purée (otherwise there was roast beef). For dessert I had a very good Genoese panettone, but you could choose between fruit, panettone or cheese. Coffee to complete as well as water and a quarter of wine (not taken because then we had to drive). All very fast, kind and with a smile always on their faces. Total cost (fixed price lunch) 13 euros. Definitely worth returning if I'm in the area again.

I had an excellent experience and a place that I recommend to my friends and family....the food, even if I gave 5 stars, I would have gladly added an additional star...the appetizers were for me an experience to be repeated, served separately they gave a greater meaning to the dish and this shows greater respect for the food...the presentation and the taking of the order by the master chef give the meaning and create the right expectation towards the guest.The price today to leave very happy full and with something still to take home was within my budget of 35 respectedThanks again for your courtesy and hospitality.
